    We are actually porting our application from clim1.1 to clim2.0.

    In clim1.1 we had some problems with the output records which could be solved
    by setting the the output-recording-stream-output-record on 
    (make-instance 'linerar-output-record)

    which is the name of this class in clim2.0

Use either STANDARD-SEQUENCE-OUTPUT-HISTORY or R-TREE-OUTPUT-HISTORY.
The former is exactly the same as CLIM 1.1's LINEAR-OUTPUT-RECORD.  The
latter can be more efficient when the displayed output consists of lots
of overlapping output records.
