A friend of mine0qnd I have written a book0introducing the LISP
language itself. It is written at a Freshman college0level and
is a much better language learners book than Winston-Horn. We
were originally going to publish it but not any longer (likely).
In any case -- it is about 80% complete (all the basic language
stuff is there 100%) and I can send around copies of the printable
form if there is sufficient interest.
