Can we move this discussion to a more appropriate list, like INFO-LAW,
or better, into a null device somewhere? Legal considerations are NOT
productive in terms of computer science research; I, and I hope most of
the readers of this list, put computer science first and formost.
Lawyers have never done anything for my research but gotten in my way.
