Re: a simple text window

About a year and a half ago I wrote a text edit dialog item object that
embodies all the functionality of TEdit from Inside Mac vols. I-IV.  I
never published it because I thought it was pretty sloppy, and I never
got around to cleaning it up, either.  If you're interested, I can probably
send the code to you.

Good luck with the blinking cursor problem.  If you find a solution, let
me know, because I never solved the problem either.  I asked someone from
Apple about it and the person told me there _is_ no easy solution.
