Re: mailing list -> UseNet newsgroup

I asked a local NetMail Wizard, Paul Vixie, whether people without access
to the news can still participate in a newsgroup.  Here is his (very
encouraging) reply:

    any site which receives news can run a news->mail gateway, such
    that all articles received or locally posted to a given newsgroup
    are mailed to a local mailing list, and local mailing-list
    recipients have a local alias they can send mail to if they want
    to post an article without running a news agent.
