Mac icons in CLIM

I'd like to use mac icons in clim.  I've read about the format of icons
(patterns) in clim and was wondering if one of the mac icon editors
would be able to generate the textual representation from the icons
themselves.  I must confess I don't know much about icons...

The goal is to reuse some of the freeware icons already available on the
mac in clim.
