select-item-from-list

I really wish select-item-from-list had a :size argument (like
message-dialog).
Even though there's a grow-icon, it looks pretty silly to pop up such a
small window on a two-page screen with a hundred choices in it...

If there's a real reason for not providing :size [doesn't seem likely to
me, but what do I know?], perhaps the window could use some percentage of
*screen-width* and *screen-height*.
