I have integrated Macintosh Common Lisp (MCL) 2.0p1 with Mathematica on
the MAC. With this functionality you can interact with the Mathematica
kernel using MCL as the front end. Alternatively, the Mathematica front
end can access MCL as another kernel. This runs on verion 7.1 of the Mac
OS.
The two tools were integrated together to provide a programming
environment and user interface for an experimental reconfigurable MIMD
supercomputer we have developed at GTE. If anyone is interested in how to
integrate MCL and Mathematica on the MAC, I would be happy to provide
details by e-mail.
