Smaller applications

Greetings,
In my use of MCL I strongly favor the tree shaker because I often want to give
small applications to students for use in various projects, or to non-lisp-
using colleagues for demonstration purposes and I don't want either group to
have to worry about mother ship applications or libraries and it is often
difficult to ensure that those groups have/can handle either. Smaller self
contained applications would simplify life for me.
(I tend not to make use of the things that make tree shaking difficult)
