Hello

Thankyou for responding to my question. I did look in the books
before I put it in the net.  I was able to do through a loop, using
elt / select or nth.

I wanted to to know if I could do it much shorter using mapcar or
something which would not require me to write a do construct.

I guess I was not clear in my question.
