Media Composition Tools Developer (Req. # SYC10-94)

Description:

Development of interfaces for editing and browsing of time-based and visual
media using Macintosh Common Lisp and QuickTime.

Requirements:

* Familiarity with editing, browsing, and time-based and visual media systems.
* Macintosh Toolbox (esp. QuickTime, QuickDraw, MIDI, digital audio).
* Macintosh Common Lisp, esp. CLOS and interface coding.
* Familiarity with knowledge representation, constraint-based systems, and real-
   time performance issues down to machine code preferred.
* Mininum of B.S. or equivalent relevant experience.

Length of Contract:

Six months with the possibility of an additional six month extension.
Contract should commence in the summer of 1994.

fifty researchers of widely varying backgrounds, whose charter is to work
on problems and opportunities for a future generation, a new "interval" in
the unfolding of electronic media, computation and communication.
