Is there a multiprocessing/process scheduling system available for MCL?

     I am looking for a system that allows the creation, scheduling, 
suspension, etc of "processes" for MCL.  I'm thinking of something like the
multiprocessing system in Franz Allegro CL.  Does anyone know of such a thing
and where I could find it?
