smart loader?

One for the wish list:

I just got burnt by having a 'load command of "needee" in a source file
"needer". Unfortunately, I was editing "needee"!

Well, them "load"s are coming out, but, gee, in ThC and Borland C not only
my source and includes, but even a data file *I* am accessing in my program
can be open *and* the data processed when the compiler or my application
runs.

No big deal.
