gcc, sun4, etc.

Does AKCL work with gcc on Sun4s?  Does it need a particular version of
gcc?  (The Sun C compiler takes too long to compile some of my files.)

(The last time I tried was gcc 1.34 with AKCL 1.122, and that didn't
seem to work.)
