Locatives are another example of a feature which seems simple
because its implementation is "obvious", but which has unexpected
repercussions in the language. Maybe it's a lot of work to figure
out a consistent theory of locatives, but unless that is done it
will continue to be just another of many ad-hoc kludges rather
than part of a coherent language.
