Re: Lisp Conference

Well, the key question for Stoltzfus is going to be whether this ends up
looking like "presenting a refereed paper at a recognized professional
conference", in which case the department generally picks up the tab (one
author per paper), or whether it looks like "random prefessional
contact-building activities", in which case you get maybe the conference
fee plus $300. I suspect, it's going to look like the latter, since this
conference is not one of the recognized ones, there isn't a formal process
for refereeing papers, etc. But if you guys drive there and find
some way to contain hotel costs (share a room, or stay in dorm rooms if
available, etc.) maybe the difference is moot.
