    I'm not sure where this fallacy came from that the AAAI boards are
    running at a slow clock rate....

It came from the mouth of a Symbolics employee who was demoing the
MacIvory in the AAAI exhibits hall.  The statement was that the AAAI
machines were running with a 240ns instruction cycle and the delivered
machines would run at 150ns.  Thanks for clearing up the matter.
