or easier to adjust? More or less reliable?
My experience has been that the new model is better in all ways, notably
in terms of linearity, brightness and reliability. I haven't had any
need to adjust (or to ask my CE to adjust) new ones. Of course, this
is based on shorter-term experience than I've had with the old models.
