Can anyone explain that difference in flod files? Documentation says
something about a machine using "either one" but not why, whether they
are exclusive to a given machine, whether they can be swapped, etc.

	Thanks.

The two designations refer to two different FEP PROM sets for the G-machine
    (3610, '20, '30, '50, and '53) family. The major differences is that G208
supports ESDI disk drives, e.g. the Maxtor 4380 and 4760 (5 1/4 inch drives
with 380 and 760 megabytes unformatted, respectively), thus machines with
these disk drives can only use G208 PROMS. There are no operational
differences, so there is no need to update machines that have G206, unless you
are retrofitting an ESDI drive to an older machine.
Not quite true; G208 supports autoboot, G206 does not.

G206 flods will not work with G208 PROMs, nor will G208 flods work with G206
    PROMs.
