Austin Kyoto Common Lisp (AKCL) is a version of KCL enhanced by Bill
Schelter at the University of Texas at Austin.  Both KCL and AKCL are
available via anonymous FTP from site CLI.COM.  There are instructions
for licensing, FTP'ing and building in the respective directories.

Among other things, AKCL has a very good tail recursion optimizer. :-)
