    absence in the regular documentation.  Thus, I assume that the Condition
    System is basically "safe," too.

If we were needing to make incompatible changes in the condition system
implementation to accomodate some change in the direction of the X3J13
standards committee on those facilities, we would generally try to
document such changes in the Release Notes since we would assume that
you were potentially affected by such changes.  If that's what you mean by
"safe", then I think the answer is yes.
