LISPM history...
Hi,
A friend of mine is looking to aquire a Symbolics lisp machine for his own
personal use, and wants to know a bit more about the Symbolics line... Can
someone out there give us a brief outline of the various machines, like which
came first, 2nd, what advancements happened, specific advantages to any
particular model, how big the system units are, etc. I just aquired a pair of
3650s myself (one a G machine), but he balked at the size of the unit, and the
power requirements of it. Me I just close my eyes and swallow the big pill...:)
