Alright, this isn't earthshattering, but this list has been quiet lately,
so...
I recently posted the question about full-microsecond-time wrapping,
and several people pointed out very gently that this is not a global
problem, it was just that my machine has been up longer than Symbolics
ever thought a 36xx could stay up without getting a microcode error :-)
Well, this made me curious. What is the record for a Symbolics 36xx
staying up? I think my record is about 8 weeks, although the machine
that prompted the question is at 7 weeks 4 days right now, and if
nothing untoward happens it will soon pass the 8 week mark. Anybody
else care to share their record for uptime?
Command: (uptime)
Host Name Time up
CONSTELLATION 5 weeks 5 days 1 hour 27 minutes 25 seconds
PHOENIX 16 weeks 3 days 6 hours 18 minutes 59 seconds
EXETER 3 weeks 3 days 21 hours 58 minutes 11 seconds
SHAPIERON 6 days 1 hour 36 minutes 18 seconds

GO-PLAYER 5 days 1 hour 42 minutes 15 seconds
1METHUSELAH 30 weeks 2 hours 40 minutes 50 seconds
0Well it seems that Methuselah lives up to his name! This cooresponds to
the last power outage that we had here at Chatsworth. One of the girls
here uses this machine on a regular basis.
