UX1200 on an NCD17c x-terminal

Hi there,

Just as the subject line says, I have a UX1200S displaying on an NCD17c
x-terminal, and I have a problem:  Where is the "meta" key?  Neither
"Alt" nor "Escape" work as "meta", and believe me it is very difficult 
to use Genera without a "meta" key!

Any pointers would be appreciated.
