There seems to be some bug in the SAIL mailer. I received the following
piece of mail, which was apparently not intended for me (or anyone on
CL-Cleanup, for that matter).
Please fix the mailer to prescan the text of messages and to make any
suggested improvements in itself -prior- to sending the mail in which
it reads about said improvements so that it can take advantage of those
improvements at the earliest opportunity.
Please be sure the mailer does not try to re-read the suggestion after
improving itself, however. This will avoid embarrassing halting problems
that could result from the improvement changing its understanding of the
suggestion.
