"cannot prescan" question

 I get several of these messages per day from the mailer-daemon, from
 one particular mailing list (CLIM). Does anyone out there have a fix
 for this? I've tried writing a rule in sendmail.cf, but it wont let
 me create a rule with a mis-balanced left hand side to tell it how to
 re-balance the incoming address...
