Binary compatibility

   Is there any reason to recompile files that were compiled with 1.2.2
   for use with 1.3.2?  I've already (and somewhat painfully) discovered
   that 1.3.2 binaries are not compatible with 1.2.2, but 1.2.2 binaries
   seem to work with 1.3.2.

I wouldn't count on this working.  Is there some reason you want to
share binaries between the two versions?  Why can't everyone just
use 1.3.2?
