Re: Using Macros in Lisp

In my opinion, a fairly helpful book for Common Lisp is Wilensky's
Common Lispcraft. I'm sure there are similar opinions about just
about every other Lisp book too, and I've not seen all of them.

But, what I liked about Wilensky's book is that it touches upon
just about all of the subject areas particular to Common Lisp --
macros, packages, etc -- in a manner not unlike treatments you
would see for other languages. It is pretty comprehensive; it's
also fairly old, in terms of it's publication date, so something
similar and more recent might get into CLOS, or emphasize the
subject material better.
