MAKE-LOAD-FORM

With regard to saving objects to files, what is the status
of MAKE-LOAD-FORM as documented in CLtL2 (p. 659-662) in
MCL 2.0?  Does it exist, and to what extent?  If not, are there plans
to include it?  And finally, is Elvis *really* still alive
and living in Michigan?  Inquiring minds want to know...
