Did you have eval-server.lisp loaded? You can't request MCL to eval things from
other apps uless that's loaded, along with appleevent-toolkit.lisp. Also, the
system needs free space to pass around the AEs, so you might actually have
to allocate *less* memory for MCL or Hypercard, so there's more free space
for the communications to go on.
