date dialog item

Has anyone written a dialog item for chosing a date that looks like
the one used by the find-file application and the date & time
control pannel? I looked at the contrib folder at ftp.digitool.com
and didn't see anything like this. Any help, including a view with
similar behavior, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
