HP9000S800

When trying to build akcl 1.600 on an HP9000S845, with HP-UX 7.0,
I get an error when linking raw_kcl:

/bin/ld: Unrecognized argument: -a

If I remove that option, raw_kcl cannot be executed, even though the
file is just over 1MByte:

sh: ./raw_kcl: too big

If I remove the  -Wl,-D0x800000 option, raw_kcl can be executed, but
of course, it crashes.
