    Hi...  Is Clim in beta-test?  My salesman claims not.  I've got it right now
    under Allegro and should have it under Lucid shortly.  I'd like it on the
    Symbolics but he claims it isn't out yet.

Right, I've been down the same path, we were a Beta site for 8.0, but have been
having trouble becoming a beta for CLIM.  The story, as I understand it, is that
CLIM has been implemented with CLOE, so that if you are liscenced for CLOE, you
probably already have CLIM.  However, if you don't have CLOE (like us), there is
no CLIM beta test, and you have to wait for the 8.1 release.

We'd really like to have it here also, but it looks like the first shot I'll
have at it is that Franz (ALLEGRO) is going to let us try out their software, and they
said it would include CLIM.
