Does MCL 2.0B1 Work on a Quadra 700

Does anyone know if MCL 2.0B1, as distributed from ADPA, launch
on a Quadra 700/ System 7.01?
I have tried all the usual cache on/off. MCL when launched exits
with a "error from unknow... type 3" error.
This disk set worked fine when installed on a IIsi/System 6.xx machine.
