I don't think that if you nest #|...|#'s you will get the support from Teco
which you were originally seeking. #|...#|...|#...|# followed by a C-M-Rubout
will rub back only to here ^ or maybe a bit before if you
have sticky (' syntax) characters preceding the 3rd vbar. C-M-F and C-M-B will
fail similarly. If you want to accomplish nesting, you need a pair of matchfix
characters (not character configurations) to make Teco happy --- or the Teco
Maintainers' support for making a radical change to Teco along these lines.
