36XX disk drive compatibility & cannibalism

We have an elderly 3600 (S/N 359) with a dead display but a healthy disk
drive. We have a newer 3670 with a deceased disk drive. Both look to be
variant "Eagle" drives. Anyone out there know if they are
    interchangeable?

While I am at it, the memory cards seem to have the same P/N. Am I
corrected in assuming them to be compatible.

Yes, these are all compatible. The only incompatible pieces between
3600's and other L-machines are the I/O board, I/O paddle, and the
console.

G-machines have other incompatibilities. None of the boards in the
L-machine processor set (FEP, IO, SEQ, XSQ, MC, IFU, and FPA) are
compatible with G machines, but peripheral and memory boards are. Also,
L- and G-machines use incompatible disk formatting (maybe someone from
Symbolics would explain why), so disks aren't interchangeable between
them.
