linking namespaces

    NAMESPACE is supported via TCP and NAMESPACE-TIMESTAMP via UDP [since
    8.0, c.f., the 8.0 release notes.]  What you want to do is implemented
    by cl-neti::link-namespaces; but the documentation unfortunately tells
    you to call customer service to find out how to use it (I'm not sure
    why).

A procedure for linking namespaces appeared in Symbolics Symposium 4,2
(May 1990). At the end of that tip, the reader is also directed to the
documentation on sync-link gateways.
